About My Path
My Path is a platform of free self-assessments. This page says what it is, how it is paid for, what we do not claim, and who reviews the methodology.
What My Path is
My Path publishes tests in three groups. Tests about you: personality, interests, work style, emotional intelligence, character strengths and a reasoning (IQ) screener. "Around me" tests, in which you describe a partner, a team, a manager, a family, a child or a community. And practice for school and exams — math, Math Kangaroo, and English, German, French and Spanish — with free sample questions anyone can answer.
Results are explained in plain language, can be compared over time, and stay private unless you share one.
How it is paid for
A free account lets you complete your first three tests, and every result is free and unblurred — nothing is held back as a teaser. The IQ test needs no account at all. What costs money is optional: AI-written reports, which are metered, and Premium plans, which let you keep starting new tests and add AI reports and PDF export. We do not sell personal data and do not run third-party ads.
What we do not claim
- The tests are not diagnostic. None of them can identify a mental-health condition, a learning difference or a personality disorder, and none should be used for hiring, admissions or placement.
- Percentiles compare you with people who took the same test here, not with a representative population sample. Nothing is age-normed.
- The questions are our own, built on well-studied models. They are not the licensed instruments those models are best known through, and those instruments' published figures do not transfer to ours.
- The "Estimated IQ" on the IQ test is your position among this site's test-takers on the mean-100 scale, always shown with its range. It is not a clinical IQ.
- Translations were checked by an AI reader against the English, not by native speakers or professional translators.
What has and has not been measured is set out on the methodology page. Methodology
Who reviews the methodology
Peter Janicki, MSc Medical Psychology, reviews the methodology page and the articles on this site, checking their claims and the sources they cite. An article shows his name only once that review has been done.
